‘We will miss him’: Auto Masters managing director Nigel Warr dies after motorbike event accident

The family of Auto Masters Australia managing director Nigel Warr have remembered him as an inspirational leader both at home and at work, after he died following an off-road motorbike accident.

Warr’s wife Donna and two children, Thomas and Abbey, said the prominent Perth businessman was a devoted family man and they felt his loss deeply.

“We are devastated by the loss of our much loved husband and father,” the Warr family said in a statement.

“He was an inspiration and leader not only within our family, to many in the industry, and we will miss him each and every day.

“We will do our upmost to continue to honour his memory and zest for life, by living life to the fullest, as he would want us to.”

It was 1992 when Warr joined Auto Masters as a manager at the Northbridge service centre.

He bought the Fremantle and Northbridge franchises just two years later and in 1996 he owned 15 franchises. Today the Auto Masters group boasts 82 locations spread across Western Australia, South Australia, and Queensland.

Warr was also a director of numerous other entities.

A statement said his commitment to excellence and his vision for the future of the automotive industry would forever be remembered and carried forward as part of his enduring legacy.
