Surfer bitten by shark at beach south of Mandurah

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development investigating a “shark bite incident” that was reported around 5.40am at Pyramids Beach in Dawesville.

It is understood a surfer was bitten on the leg and is in hospital in a stable condition.

St John WA said no ambulance was called.
