A man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death after a horror crash in the Wheatbelt which killed two elderly women.
The women, aged 82 and 83, were in a Suzuki hatchback when it was involved in a collision between a Toyota Prado and a road train towing two trailers on Brand Highway about 9am on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the scene north of Cooljarloo but the women died as a result of their injuries.
The 38-year-old Spalding man, allegedly behind the wheel of the Prado, was charged over the incident and will appear before the Perth Northbridge Magistrates Court today.
A 12-year-old girl, who was also believed to be in the Prado, received minor injuries and was treated by St John WA paramedics.
