There has been an emergency warning issued for Alberton, Alberton West, Calrossie, Devon North, Glen Rose, Greenmount, Hiawatha, Jack River, Macks Creek, Madalya, Staceys Bridge, Tarra Valley, Whitelaw, Won Wron, Woranga and Yarram.

Emergency services crews are working to stop the spread of fire in the Jack River towards Glen Rose, Devon North, Yarram and Macks Creek areas. 

Ember Attacks have been reported reaching Won Wron. 

There is a relief center located at Yarram Secondary College - 86 James Street, Yarram. 

The CFA says if you plan to leave you should register with the Red Cross on 1800 727 077.

The CFA says you should act now to protect yourself and the safest option is to take shelter indoors immediately.

The CFA has downgraded their advice message for Christmas Hills, Kangaroo Ground, North Warrandyte, Panton Hill, Research, Warrandyte South and Wonga Park.

Firefighters are continuing to work on containing the spread of the grassfire in the Warrandyte area.  The grassfire is not yet under control, it is expected to be contained within the next 2 hours.

The CFA says those areas are no longer under any threat.

The CFA have issued an advice message for Katunga, Muckatah, Naring, Naringaningalook, Numurkah, Sandmount and Yarroweyah South areas.

Firefighters are continuing firefighting operations on the Wunghnu fire overnight and during the morning. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. 

The CFA says residents are advised to remain vigilant overnight and continue to stay updated and monitor fire conditions throughout the morning. 

Motorists are advised to take extra caution due to heavy CFA vehicles undertaking firefighting operations in these areas.

The CFA have downgraded their earlier watch and act message for Bonang, Cabanandra, Deddick Valley, Delegate River, Dellicknora and Tubbut

The large bushfire in this area has subsided overnight due to cooler temperatures and higher humidity, however it remains listed as not yet under control.

The CFA says residents should stay close to chelter in case conditions change again suddenly.

 

The CFA has reissued an emergency warning for Kilmore and Kilmore East. 

There is a fast moving, out of control grassfire travelling in a northerly direction from Daraweit Guim towards High Park Road, Kilmore-Lancefield Road, Old Kilmore-Lancefield Road and Split Staff Gully Roads Kilmore.  

The CFA says residents should take shelter indoors immediately.

There is an emergency warning issued for Bylands, Chintin, Forbes and Springfield

There is a fast moving, out of control grassfire travelling in a north westerly direction towards Bylands, Chintin, Forbes and Springfield, with spotfires and ember attacks are occurring.  

The CFA says it is too late to leave and the safest option is to take shelter indoors immediately.
