Pedestrian, 93, dies days after he was hit by car
A 93-year-old man has died in hospital days after he was hit by a car at Burpengary this month.
Police believe a Ford Falcon was travelling on the Bruce Highway Eastern Service Road when it struck the man about 9.20am on March 20.
The pedestrian, from Burpengary East, was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition, and died on March 24.
A 65-year-old Bray Park man believed to have been driving the Ford was not hurt.
Officers are continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
