By Courtney Kruk

A 21-year-old man has died and four other men are in hospital following a single-vehicle crash at Bonogin in the Gold Coast Hinterland overnight.

Police were called to the scene following reports that a car had rolled onto its roof.

Initial investigations suggest a Mitsubishi Pajero was travelling east on Bonogin Road about 12.45am when it left the road and rolled, a police statement said.

The driver, a 21-year-old Mudgeeraba man, was declared dead at the scene.

The remaining four passengers, all men in their 20s, were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
