Man repeatedly stabbed walks to Brisbane police station to raise alarm

A man who was stabbed multiple times and robbed by a group of men in Brisbane's south overnight managed to walk to a nearby police station and raise the alarm.

Police said the 39-year-old victim was walking along Ipswich Road, Annerley about 11pm when he was approached by a group of men.

The victim was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

The victim and group argued before one member of the group stabbed the victim multiple times in the back and leg. During the attack, the group also stole the man’s phone.

After the attack, the man walked to Annerley police station and raised the alarm.

Specialist critical care paramedics rushed the victim, who was in a serious condition, to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was stabilised.
