Gunman on the run after setting Sunnybank house on fire
A gunman is on the run after allegedly threatening the resident of a home before setting it on fire in Brisbane’s south.
Emergency services were called to Lister Street at Sunnybank just before 9.30pm on Thursday.
“Investigations indicate a male person attended the address with what appeared to be a firearm, made threats to a resident, who is known to him, and set fire to the dwelling before leaving,” a police spokesman said.
“No one was injured. Investigations are ongoing.”
One person was assessed by paramedics but did not require treatment.
