Deadly motorbike and minibus crash under police investigation

A motorcyclist in his 40s has died after a crash with a minibus.

Police are investigating the incident, about 2.45pm on Thursday, appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The man, a 41-year-old from Narangba, was riding a Suzuki GSX-S1000 along Elizabeth Avenue in the Moreton Bay suburb of Kippa-Ring, north of Brisbane, when he and the bus collided.

The rider died at the scene.

The bus driver was not injured.

Police said the Forensic Crash Unit was investigating the circumstances of the crash.
