A 65-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a domestic violence incident in Sydney’s inner west last week.
Last Thursday night, emergency services attended a home on Etonville Parade, Croydon, after reports of a 70-year-old man with serious head injuries.

Police officers searched the home and also found a woman, who was known to the man, in the backyard with stab wounds.
The man and the woman were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where the man remains in a serious condition.
Following an investigation, the woman, who was under police guard in hospital, was charged with cause wounding to a person with an intent to murder about 11.15am last Friday, December 9.
She was refused bail to appear via bedside hearing at Newtown Local Court on Wednesday, where she was formally refused bail to reappear at the same court on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Police are not seeking any other parties in relation to the incident.
