Two bodies have been found in a dilapidated terrace in inner Sydney, with police saying they could have been there for weeks.
Police were called to the two-storey house on Cleveland Street in Surry Hills on Thursday afternoon. They located the body of one man before discovering the body of a second in another room.

Both men are believed to have died in the home at different times within the past month, and are thought to be aged in their 70s and 80s, but are yet to be formally identified.
A 63-year-old woman who lives at the same house has been spoken to by detectives.
One police source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the discovery was being considered as “a sad story at this stage”, and officers were investigating whether the pair died of natural causes.
A crime scene remains in place, with police tape tied across the entrance to the rundown and neglected property.
