Bankrupt businessman John Elliott has reportedly been kicked out of three top-line men's clubs.
The Savage Club, which says membership ends when a member is bankrupt, upheld its constitution, the Herald Sun newspaper said.
The club in Bank Place, off Collins Street, had been the former millionaire's exclusive lunch sanctuary for decades, the Herald Sun said.
Mr Elliott had earlier been told he was no longer welcome at the even more exclusive Melbourne and Australian clubs, as Melbourne's establishment turned its back on the failed businessman, the paper said.
It said fellow Savages had complained about Mr Elliott's loud behaviour.
"He is like a whirlwind, with little regard for anyone but himself," a member told the newspaper.
"The club will be a quieter and better place without him. He needs to learn to be more considerate to others."
Mr Elliott has filed for bankruptcy with debts of more than $9 million.
