Beauty Insider

Eva Galambos, the director of fashion mecca Parlour X in Paddington, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, reveals her favourite beauty fixes.

What I’m loving right now Omnilux Contour Face (fennstore.com, $550). It’s an at-home LED light therapy mask which was perfect during lockdown for soothing and rejuvenating my skin and is now a fixture in my skincare routine. I also love Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6 (fennstore.com, $108) at night.

Beauty icon Jane Fonda: she is extraordinary. She looks at least 15 years younger than her age of 84. For me she epitomises sophistication.

Rule I live by Moisturise my face, neck, chest and hands as often as possible; morning, noon and night.

Top beauty tip A yearly mesotherapy treatment with therapist Victoria at Dr Van Park (drvanpark.com.au, $660) using micro injections of vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and tighten my skin.

Must-have beauty product La Mer Crème De La Mer (mecca.com.au, $135). I have very dry skin, and this is the most nourishing cream for me.

Favourite exercise routine I’ve been doing yoga since I was 16; it helps a lot with maintaining my clarity and feeling present in the moment.

I never leave the house without La Mer The Lip Balm (mecca.com.au, $105). I have dry lips and this is my all-time favourite. It smells delicious, too.

Trend: The new pastels

It’s time to have some fun with nail polish and this posse of pastels is perfect for toes and fingers. Push out the boat with a mustard hue from Hermès, go for O.P.I’s new cool white, or play it pretty with Sally Hansen’s long-lasting dusty-pink shade.

Luxe to less: Hermès en Jaune Impériale, $70. O.P.I Nature Strong Lacquer in Raindrop Expectations, $23. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Shock & Mauve, $17.

One of my obsessions is shower gel and L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil (au.loccitane.com, $39) is at the top of my list. It lathers light and smells of toasty warm almonds with a hint of marzipan. Lush.

Ask Steph

I struggle to keep up my oral vitamin routine. Help.
Try Vitable (vitable.com.au). Questionnaire done, I duly receive my pack filled with daily sachets of astaxanthin for skin, fish oil, ashwagandha for stress, a tub of magnesium for sleep, and vanilla collagen creamer for skin. Boom.
