How would you describe your style? I wear lots of patterns – I feel most myself in animal print. There’s always something oversized, and heaps of fun accessories.

What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe? My mum’s wedding ring and some of her old handbags. A black leather bag with silver studs from the ’90s is a favourite.

And the most recent addition? A Blanca matching denim set – jeans and an oversized shirt – in black-and-white zebra stripes. Sets are easy because I feel put together without having to think.

What would you wear … on a first date? A denim set with kitten heels and my fluffy Mane by Stable “Sheila” bag. … on a plane? I know people are into their airport fits, but I just go comfy in sports leggings, a colourful, oversized Jungles Jungles hoodie and my Nike “TN” sneakers. … on the red carpet? I’m dying to wear a custom dress by Melbourne designer Van Der Kooij.

What’s your favourite fashion era? The 1960s for the miniskirts, chunky boots, shift dresses and prints.

Who are your favourite designers? Locally, its Blanca, Van Der Kooij and P.A.M. (Perks and Mini) for their cool graphic tees. European brands I like are Stine Goya for the prints and great bags, and Baum und Pferdgarten for the cool Scandi vibe. I also love Ganni – it’s cool and feminine but not “pretty”.

What’s your fragrance of choice? I wear Rabanne “Olympea”.

What are the three essential items in your wardrobe? Statement jackets and coats are my favourite things to buy, especially living in Melbourne. I have a new Baum und Pferdgarten pink winter coat and a couple of Laagam bombers with really cool prints. I love a fun textured handbag – something furry by Poppy Lissiman. At this stage of life, I need comfortable pants; I wear an On Parks pair a lot, and my Adidas track pants – they’re comfy but still work with a little kitten heel.

Any go-to jewellery? Every day I wear six rings, lots of earrings and necklace stacks. There’s an Underground Sundae gold rat earring that I love and feel naked without. Also, a Cleopatra’s Bling statement pearl necklace that I bought just after I had my second child – it was my own “push present”.

What’s on your wish list? A gold Hugo Kreit “Chunk” ring, a gold Simuero “Ola Orange” ring, a pair of DOF Studios cream wool “Tory” heels, and a black Sandy Liang “Recital” bag.

Is the something you’d never wear? Never say never. I swore I’d never wear thongs and then last summer I bought a pair of Havaianas.

Is there a current trend you like? Leopard print is everywhere – I love it.

What do you sleep in? I’m still up at night feeding my baby, so it’s got to be breastfeeding-friendly. I sleep in a long-sleeve, low-rise top for easy access and track pants. I need to treat myself to some nice pyjamas.

What shoes do you wear most often? Ballet flats and sandals. A pair of silver DOF Studios flats would be my most-worn shoe.

Who’s your favourite fashion icon? I love Rita Ora’s bold looks. She wears bright colours, cool prints, and she thinks about her style from head to toe. She’s always got her nails done and wears coloured eyeshadow. Her looks are maximalist, but everything comes together so well. And I love everything Poppy Lissiman wears. Again, it’s lots of prints and fun colours.

What do you wear on a typical working day? As I’m away from the kids, it’s a dressier type of day. I might wear a leopard-print Ganni strapless denim top with clashing red leopard-print jeans and a Zara boot.

What’s your favourite off-duty, casual Sunday look? A matching Uniqlo set with straight leg track pants and matching hoodie that I bought for my husband. It’s so comfy.
