How did you get your big break?

I found out who was casting Strictly Ballroom and asked for a role in the movie. Next minute I was Tina Sparkle!

What are daily news media habits?

Is this a trick question? I watch Sunrise in the morning, 7NEWS at night and in between, I go to 7NEWS.com.au.

Which living person do you most admire?

My mum Margaret.

Your guilty streaming pleasure?

I love a good true crime documentary such as The Staircase, The Jinx, Tiger King... you get the picture.

Which phrase do you overuse?

One hundred percent!

What did you want to do when you grew up?

A doctor or a dancer... because those two occupations are so similar.

What was your first job?

I was a checkout chick at Coles Beenleigh in Queensland.

What’s one vice you wish you could give up?

Chocolate bullets.

Assigned kindergarten books with my daughter Maggie.

Whiplash.

Wimbledon.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

What other people think of you is none of your business.

What are the three things you couldn’t live without?

My partner, my daughter and my Dyson Stick vac (not an ad).
