AFL trade period 2015: Brisbane Lions midfielder Jack Redden traded to West Coast
By Emma Quayle
Brisbane midfielder Jack Redden will play for West Coast next year, after the two clubs reached a deal on the opening day of trading.
The deal - which will see the Lions receive the Eagles' first pick in the draft, No. 17 - will be finalised on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Redden had a year to run on his contract, but was due to become a free agent at the end of 2016.
The 24-year-old midfielder has played 129 games in his seven years in Brisbane.
West Coast will now turn their attention to Sydney wingman Lewis Jetta, with a player to potentially become involved in that trade. The Swans are keen on ruckman Callum Sinclair.
The Eagles have been given a second-round compensation pick (No. 37), after deciding not to offer Geelong's offer to the free agent.
The first-round pick will help the Lions "pay" for highly-rated academy pair Eric Hipwood and Ben Keays on draft night, under the new bidding system.
