- At least 34 people have been killed and an estimated 250 injured in blasts at Brussels Airport and at the Maalbeek metro station.
- Police are searching for a man who was captured on CCTV at Brussels Airport and seen running from the scene of the blast. He was photographed with two other men, who are believed to have blown themselves up at the airport.
- A taxi driver who is believed to have unwittingly driven the bombers to the airport led police to a house in Schaerbeek, a northern borough of Brussels, that was believed to be the bombers' base. Police reportedly found a nail bomb, an IS flag and weapons inside the home.
- Islamic State has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attacks.
- A planned strike at major Australian airports has been called off in wake of the bombings.
