The permutations for the Matildas at the 2015 Women's World Cup

Australia will top their group if: They beat Sweden and the US draw or lose to Nigeria.
They will then remain in Edmonton and play the highest-ranked third-placed team from either group B, E or F in the second round.

Australia will finish second if: They draw with Sweden and the US draw or beat Nigeria, or if they beat Sweden and the US beat Nigeria. They will then play Brazil in Moncton in the second round.

Australia will finish third if: They lose to Sweden and the US draw or beat Nigeria.
From there, they could face an early exit or possibly qualify as one of the best third-placed teams and play the winner of group B (likely Germany or Norway) in Ottawa, or the winner of group A (either Canada, China or The Netherlands) in Vancouver.

Australia will finish fourth and exit if: They lose to Sweden and Nigeria defeat the US.
