The body of a 33-year-old Taiwanese man has been recovered from Black Diamond Lake in Allanson.
The family have been notified and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
The man was reported missing after swimming with friends at Black Diamond Lake near Collie on Christmas Day.
Police said the man was swimming with a group of friends around but around 2.30pm they realised he had not returned to shore.
Police conducted emergency patrols of the lake’s perimeter with the assistance of members of the public on paddleboards.
A police helicopter was also used.
The search continued on Monday with his body recovered in the afternoon.
Ferguson Road in Allanson remained closed to the public. Police requested that members of the public change any plans they had to visit the location.
