Man charged with murder after body found near train line

A third person has been charged with murder after the death of a 47-year-old man in Melbourne’s south-east in July.
A 53-year-old Boronia man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and is accused of being involved in the fatal assault of a 47-year-old Frankston man at a Binalong Avenue property in Chadstone on July 18.
During a search, Victoria Police found the alleged victim’s body on Railway Parade in Chadstone later that day.
A 36-year-old woman and 35-year-old man were charged with one count of murder in July. They were remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on November 17.
Police say they believe the parties involved were known to each other.
The 53-year-old Boronia man will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
