Shot fired into car carrying three people on Sunshine Coast
Police are trying to identify a gunman after a bullet was fired from one car into another carrying three people on the Sunshine Coast overnight.
A Holden Commodore with a man and two men was approaching the intersection of David Low Way and Airport Drive in Marcoola about 11.45pm on Tuesday when another Commodore, grey in colour, came alongside.

Police said a gun was pulled from inside the grey Commodore, prompting the other car to accelerate before a single shot was fired from the driver's window.
The bullet hit the back of the car with the trio inside and none of the occupants were injured.
The grey Commodore sped away along David Low Way towards the roundabout with Pacific Paradise.

Its driver was described as a Caucasian man with a dark tan. He has short dark hair and a light beard.
