Seven people rescued while clinging to capsized boat off Bundaberg
About seven people on a boat that capsized in rough seas have been rescued off the coast of Bundaberg.
RACQ CapRescue responded to a distress beacon activated at about 5.30pm on Saturday.
When help arrived, the boat’s seven occupants were clinging to the upturned seven-metre vessel.
A Rescue300 helicopter also helped with overhead surveillance, while the occupants were rescued by Bundaberg Volunteer Marine Rescue.
The occupants were all in good health.
