Woman trapped after truck flips, crushing cars in Sydney crash

A freight truck has flipped onto two cars, trapping one woman, injuring two others and closing a busy Sydney road during peak hour.
Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to Bells Line of Road in Kurrajong Heights about 3pm on Monday, where they found the truck on its side, a Toyota SUV buried in its trailer and a Ford SUV crumpled.

A woman in her 50s was trapped inside the Toyota until just before 5pm, when she was freed by paramedics and taken to a waiting Westpac Rescue helicopter to be transported to Liverpool Hospital.
The woman suffered leg injuries and is in a stable condition.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said another man in his 50s suffered chest and leg injuries, while a man in his 60s was being examined for potential back injuries. Both men are in stable conditions.
The truck driver was able to walk away from the crash, a police spokesperson said.

Bells Line of Road is closed in both directions while police assess the scene. State Emergency Service volunteers are also providing assistance.
