Parramatta Council: What your candidates said

The City of Parramatta, led by outgoing Labor mayor Pierre Esber, has 15 councillors spread across five wards.

The Sydney Morning Herald sent questions to each of the 73 candidates up for election at the City of Parramatta Council about why they are running and what they want to accomplish if they are elected. Of those, 16 responded.

Their responses have been lightly edited for clarity.

We asked candidates where they stood on key policy issues they’re likely to vote on while in office, and what they thought about the current state of council services. Click the below buttons to see the results.
