Five in hospital, 11 injured after five-car smash in Reservoir

Eleven people have been injured and five are in hospital following a horrific crash involving five cars in Melbourne's north.

Emergency services were called to the corner of High Street and Broadhurst Avenue in Reservoir about 3.10pm on Saturday, where five vehicles, including a Ferrari, had collided.

Mr Mullen said one other person was taken to the Austin hospital for observation, while six other people were injured but did not need hospitalisation.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said it was too early to tell what caused the crash.
