The house
An off-the-plan, two‐bedroom apartment in inner‑city Sydney with ornamental cornices, steel warehouse‑style doors and parquetry floors, which are rarely found in similar developments.

Who lives here
Ryan McGregor, an interior architect, and Jono Fleming, an interior designer.

What we did
“We focused on infusing warmth and personality into the interiors by blending my minimalist sensibility with Jono’s maximalist flair,” says McGregor.

Favourite room
“Our living room is our happy space,” says Fleming. “It’s a place where we unwind on our Jardan ‘Valley’ sofa surrounded by art and objects that tell our shared story.”

The ’hood
“Whether Ryan is cycling through leafy streets to work or we’re strolling around the neighbourhood, the lively character and diverse mix of people make every day special,” says Fleming.

Future plans
“The kitchen is the darkest corner,” says McGregor. “But we’re planning to brighten it up and boost its functionality with storage solutions, stone accents and panelled cupboards.”

Best advice
“By regularly rotating our lamps, vases, and other pieces, we keep our home feeling fresh and uncluttered,” says Fleming.
