How would you describe your style?
I like a masculine look: blazers, boyfriend jeans, casual basics. I feel more confident in pants and suits than skirts and dresses. Comfort is key. And I love neutral colours.

What’s the oldest thing in your wardrobe?
A ring of my nanna’s that looks like an engagement ring. It’s quite sentimental; she left it to me when she passed away. I don’t wear it for fear of losing it.

And the most recent addition?
A white Viktoria & Woods corset. It’s not something I would typically buy but it’s versatile; it goes with quite a few pieces in my wardrobe.

What would you wear …
… on a first date? I keep it simple: black jeans, black cami and a black blazer. I usually prefer to wear flats, but if it’s a date I’m trying to impress I’ll wear a block heel.

… on a plane? I dress like I’m in disguise: tights, hoodie, hat and sneakers. I always tie an extra jumper around my waist, I get so cold.

… on the red carpet? A custom-made suit by Effie Kats.

What’s your favourite fashion era?
The ’90s. The denim, the sunglasses, TLC, that whole R&B era.

Do you have a favourite designer?
I like First Nations label Ngali. They use such beautiful fabrics and patterns – artwork made into T shirts and dresses. If we’re talking luxe designers, I like the masculine look of some of Balenciaga’s pieces; most of their stuff is quite unisex.

What’s your fragrance of choice?
Lancome’s La Vie Est Belle is my go-to. It’s a bit different, not overly fruity or floral. It suits my personality.

What are three essential items in your wardrobe?
You can’t go wrong with a good pair of blue jeans – I like loose-fitting boyfriend jeans in a lighter denim. Plus a variety of white T-shirts – Uniqlo and Zara are good. And a hat. I love a cap, especially if you’re going out and haven’t done your hair! Any go-to jewellery? A couple of gold pieces from By Charlotte. I like how fine and delicate they are.

Can you remember a favourite piece of clothing from when you were a child?
This is embarrassing. It was a punk rocker-style pink Hilary Duff T-shirt from a TV show she was on and I swear I never took it off, ever. I was nine and growing into a bit of a tomboy. I loved sports and being active, so it fitted my look at the time!

And your worst fashion mistake?
Gladiator sandals that went all the way up to the knee.

What was your first fashion moment?
This whole season of The Bachelorette. The finale dress is the most amazing dress I’ve ever seen. It’s strapless, off-the-shoulder, in this beautiful blue fabric that’s like water. It was custom made for me by OgliaLoro Couture. Sam [the designer] blindfolded me, put it on and took me to a mirror. I cried when I saw it. It’s just breathtaking; I felt amazing.

What’s at the top of your fashion wish list?
A pair of Monday Swimwear bathers. I can’t wait for summer, sand, sea and sunshine.

Who’s your favourite fashion icon?
I love the masculine vibe of Shay Mitchell. Also, Olivia Culpo. I love how she mixes designer with basics; it always looks effortless.

Is there something you would never wear?
Anything floral.

Is there a current fashion trend you like?
A pop of colour. I’m loving all the greens and blues – they look good on my skin. I’m trying to incorporate more colour into my very neutral wardrobe.

What shoes do you wear most often?
I’m a sneakers girl: Nike, New Balance and Adidas. I love street styles as well, old-school Vans and Converse.

What’s your favourite off-duty, casual Sunday look?
Bike shorts and a P.E Nation or Clothing the Gaps jumper. I’ll be relaxing, taking my dog for a walk and trying to get some sun.
