What a night the 2016 TV Week Logie Awards is shaping up to be.
With Lee Lin Chin and Waleed Aly both nominated for the Gold Logie, could this be the year we see a more progressive and diverse night of nights?
Read on for our form guide with a complete breakdown of each nominee's chances and Sportsbet odds.
Waleed Aly
Odds: $1.40
The Project co-host is undeniably one of the most pre-eminent voices on television in 2016. Since taking the reigns of the Channel Ten show in 2015, the academic and former lawyer has delivered scathing editorials on domestic violence, terrorism and negative gearing.
But despite being lauded by industry peers, his nomination has still angered "TV insiders" who think him undeserving. Aly winning gold could seriously rock the boat.
Carrie Bickmore
Odds: $4
The darling of primetime television, The Project co-host took home the Gold Logie last year with a powerful speech on brain cancer research.
Bickmore's hard work ethic and inspiring story has earned her plaudits, and she has more than proven she can hold her own next to Aly, delivering fierce sermons on the need for childcare and parental leave. The golden girl could be the first person since Rove McManus to win back-to-back.
Grant Denyer
Odds: $11
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. The affable Family Feud host has been nominated for Best Presenter four times without taking home an award. His hosting duties on family shows such as The Great Australian Spelling Bee may be without critical acclaim, but Denyer is one of the great mainstays of Aussie TV.
Is it time Denyer was recognised for his contributions with a Gold Logie? It doesn't look likely, but there's a chance.
Lee Lin Chin
Odds: $11
The no-nonsense newsreader's nomination is historic: Chin is the first SBS star to ever be put forward for a Gold Logie. With a career in broadcasting spanning 30 years, Chin's recognition is way overdue.
Despite public plaudits for her wit and off-screen humour, some industry figures are still unimpressed with the journalist's nomination. We think Chin is a serious contender.
Essie Davis
Odds: $21
ABC's screen siren is a dark horse going in to this race, running against some of the biggest names of television. But Davis is not to be easily dismissed: the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries actress stars in the latest season of blockbuster Game of Thrones, and has already been nominated for a prestigious AACTA Award. Her odds may be slim, but Davis is one to watch.
Scott Cam
Odds: $34
The Block host and former chippie already has a Gold and Silver Logie after he cleaned out the 2014 awards and won both the top gong and the Most Popular Presenter category.
Synonymous with Nine's home renovation shows, Cam's fortunes have changed in recent years with The Block's ratings on the slide and Reno Rumble dubbed a ratings disaster. He went home empty-handed in 2015, as is likely the case again this year.
