Television funnywoman Julia Morris has a history of stealing the show, and her turn on this year's Logie Awards stage was no different.
Stepping up to the podium at the awards, Morris spoke about the power of television presenters.
"They're charming, they're charismatic and we welcome them into our homes every night," she said.
"They also get to wear amazing clothes."
The comedian, actress and House Husbands star then did a spin to show off her Logie gown to the audience, but instead slipped and collapsed in a heap on stage.
Awkwardly struggling to her feet, she audibly gasped the word "f---" to a mixture of applause and laughter. She then spoke in a quivering voice of the "poise and dignity" presenters must maintain, even in the most difficult circumstances.
Though the fall was spectacular, it was carefully rehearsed, according to sources. And Nine's network censor approved the use of the profanity.
She later returned to the stage to perform Holdin' Out For A Hero, the same song she performed as a teenager on New Faces.
The stunt was a deliberate nod to Morris' brilliant gaffe during the 2015 Logies telecast, in which she announced the winner before naming the nominees.
Last year, Morris opened the envelope and announced that the winner of the outstanding entertainment program category was Nine's The Voice.

After the show's star Ricky Martin made his acceptance speech and returned to his seat, a sheepish Morris returned to the microphone, saying "Did I forget to talk about the nominees?" She then fumbled with the envelope, to rapturous laughter and applause."Let's pretend it hasn't happened, ladies and gentlemen, the nominees ... " she said, adding under her breath: "I wish I had my glasses."
