TROUBLED actor Jodi Gordon has credited her increased exercise regimen with helping her survive one of the toughest years of her life.
The former Home and Away actor, caught up in an embarrassing scandal last year surrounding a bikie and alleged cocaine use, has used walking, running and Pilates to help herself recover from the bad publicity.
"Last year was a very big year for me, in many ways. Throughout the good and bad, one thing I've always focused on is my fitness," said Gordon, who filmed her final scenes for Home and Away last week. "It's exercise that puts me in the right frame of mind to keep moving forward," the 25-year-old (pictured) told Good Health magazine, out this week.
Gordon was found cowering at the Bellevue Hill home of alleged bikie associate Mark Judge after police received reports of an armed break-in (there had been no break-in).
She said exercise had since turned her life around: "I really enjoy walking and running, so I try to get out every day. Also, I do two to three sessions of Pilates a week."
Gordon, who was in a relationship with Channel Seven media heir Ryan Stokes before the scandal, also told of her desire for marriage and children one day.
She is now dating rugby league player Braith Anasta.
