A YOUTH has been arrested after a police pursuit in Alice Springs which ended when officers deployed vehicle-stopping tyre spikes.
Southern Watch Commander Josh Cunningham said a vehicle was spotted behind Sammy’s Pizza, which drove away as police approached.

“He headed off towards the Stuart Hwy and the vehicle was tyre spiked,” he said.
“He continued northbound for a while before coming to a stop and being arrested by a member about three or four kilometres out of town.”
