POLICE are investigating after a vehicle was stolen when a house was broken into overnight and the keys located and taken

POLICE are investigating after a vehicle was stolen following a break-in in Alice Springs overnight.

At around 3.50am Monday morning, police saw a grey Toyota RAV 4 being driven through the CBD by youths.

Police woke the registered owners of the car who confirmed their home in Sadadeen was broken into before their keys and car were stolen.

The car was seen abandoned at around 4.15am in Partridge Curt, Sadadeen with the alleged offenders seen running from the area.

Two males aged 13 and 16 were arrested and taken to the watch house.

Investigations are ongoing.
