Trio captured on CCTV blocking in P-plater at car wash, appearing to unleash flurry of punches

FOOTAGE has emerged of three men approaching a car at a Palmerston car wash and appearing to bash the person inside.

The vision posted to Facebook shows a car pull up behind the P-plater, reportedly at the Argos car wash in Tivendale on Sunday, blocking the other car in.

The trio gets out of the car and walk up to the P-plater’s vehicle before one of them opens the driver’s side door and appears to unleash a flurry of blows on the occupant.

As the man walks away, tape can be seen on his right hand and a second man throws another punch through the driver’s side window before all three get back in their car and drive away.

An NT Police spokeswoman said the incident was yet to be reported to police.

“Victims of crime are encouraged to report all instances to police,” she said.
