A MAN has been arrested and charged after police allegedly found 18kg of cannabis in his car during a roadside drug test.
The 52-year-old man was pulled over for a drug test in Adelaide River at 12.30pm Saturday, and when he allegedly returned a positive reading police searched his car.
It was then that police allegedly found 18kg of cannabis and a sum of cash.
Police then searched the man’s house and allegedly found about 500g of cannabis and a money counting machine,
The man was charged with supplying a commercial quantity schedule 2 dangerous drug, possessing a commercial quantity schedule 2 dangerous drug and driving with a prohibited drug in his body.

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Local Court today.
