THREE people were caught drink driving in Tennant Creek over the course of Friday night.

Southern Watch Commander Adrian Kidney about 9.30pm on Friday police pulled over a 40-year-old man for a roadside breath test (RBT) who was arrested and found to have a high range reading of 0.135 per cent.

Sr Sgt Kidney said he was charged with medium range drink driving with bail considered.

He said about 11.30pm a 31-year-old woman was stopped for an RBT and returned a positive result.

“She was arrested for the purpose of a BA (breath analysis) where she returned a high range reading of 0.079 per cent,” he said.

“She was issued a NTA (notice to appear) for drive low range.”

Sr Sergeant Kidney said about 3.20am on Saturday a 42-year-old man was stopped for an RBT, and was found to have a high range reading of 0.165 per cent. “He was charged for drive high range and bail considered,” he said.
