A woman has tragically been killed in a single vehicle rollover west of Alice Springs.
NT Police from Hermannsburg attended the scene of a fatal crash in Central Australia on Sunday after receiving reports of a single vehicle rollover on Larapinta Drive near the Palm Valley turn-off shortly before 8.30am.
On arrival at the scene, police found the female occupant deceased.
Major Crash Investigation Unit detectives attended the scene and police will prepare a report for the coroner.

The age of the deceased is not known.
The incident has impacted traffic in the area with the road being closed to allow investigators to process the scene.
Police ask anyone travelling in the area to slow down, comply with any diversions in place and heed all directions of emergency services.
