Police are investigating a crime spree in Palmerston overnight, including an incident where offenders reportedly ram raided a local IGA.

POLICE are investigating an alleged crime spree in Palmerston overnight, including an incident where offenders reportedly ram raided a local IGA.
According to Northern Watch Commander Richard Howie, police received a report at around 2am of an unlawful entry and stealing at The Corner shop in Forrest Parade, Roseberry.
Police received another report of an unlawful entry and criminal damage at Hungry Jacks in Palmerston CBD and then a further report of a car ram raiding the Cellarbrations bottle shop in Zuccoli.
The offenders are reported to have stolen alcohol, tried to open the cash register and then fled the scene.
Police believe a vehicle stolen earlier in the night may have been involved as a vehicle matching its description was seen leaving the scene. The vehicle is described as a Blue Kia Seltos SUV.
