POLICE are investigating a number of break-ins around Alice Springs.
Two male youths were sighted trying to break in to the Alice Springs Golf Course on Cromwell Drive at 2am and then again at 2.45am on Tuesday morning.
Southern Watch Commander Darrell Kerr said the two youths were believed to have been trying to steal car keys to take a vehicle.
Police received reports of anther attempted break-in at a business in Sadadeen around 2:25am and then another at a residence in the same area around 3.40am.
“It would appear most of the unlawful entries were trying to get keys to steal vehicles,” Watch Commander Kerr said.

He said police are unsure who are responsible but will conduct forensics testing.
