POLICE are calling for witnesses following reports that a man allegedly assaulted his pregnant partner in Palmerston earlier this week.
Between 8pm and 9pm on Monday, a 28-year-old man is alleged to have assaulted his 27-year-old pregnant partner near Roystonea and University Avenue.
Police from the Domestic and Family Violence section arrested the man on Thursday and he has since appeared before court.
