JURORS in the trial of former NT Police Assistant Commissioner Peter Bravos will continue their deliberations on Thursday after retiring to consider their verdict on Wednesday.
Bravos is facing trial in the Supreme Court after pleading not guilty to two counts of raping another police officer after a social function in 2004.
The court has heard the woman was allegedly passed out after a night of heavy drinking when Bravos had sex with her at his house while his wife and children were away.

In a recorded interview played to the court Bravos agreed he’d had sex with her but insisted it was “most definitely” consensual.
The jury is due to reconvene at 10am.
