The manager of a popular Darwin cafe says he’s ‘sick and tired’ of waking up to break-ins after booze thieves used rocks to smash their way in for the seventh time last night.

THE manager of a popular Darwin cafe says he’s “sick and tired” of waking up to break-ins after booze thieves used rocks to smash their way in for the seventh time last night.
The Fresh Point Co Cafe Parap was left with a $2000 damage bill after thieves used rocks to smash through glass panels to steal a few bottles of beer on Wednesday night.
Manager Ajab Preetkaur said this was the seventh break in the cafe has had since opening late last year.
He said staff were getting sick and tired of waking up to another break-in day after day.
“Most of the time, it’s been booze-related,” he said.
“The total damages of all these break-ins are estimated to cost up over $20,000 now.”

The incident comes after the Fannie Bay IGA supermarket was also broken into on Monday by booze thieves who caused cost them about $10,000 in damages.
