A man has been knocked unconscious by an unknown assailant while sitting in his car

A MAN has been knocked unconscious by an unknown assailant while sitting in his car.

The 27-year-old man was struck to the head and the offender fled the area.

It is not clear if the victim was punched or hit with an something.

The victim left a venue at Coolalinga at 10.45pm last Sunday and sat in the driver’s seat of his white Ford Ranger utility on Fairweather Cres.

At that point he was struck multiple times to the head.
