“At about 2.25am this morning, a vehicle was located on its roof in the outbound lane of Tiger Brennan Drive in the Stuart Park Area. The vehicle was blocking the centre and left lane,” she said.
“An off duty doctor was assisting the driver from the vehicle, he appeared to be heavily intoxicated and blamed the two female passengers, one of them being his wife, for making him drive.”
Cmdr Kennon said the driver was lucky no one was hurt during the incident.
“It is understood that the vehicle had travelled a short distance before swerving through the intersection and rolling onto its roof,” she said.
“None of the passengers sustained any injuries, the driver was conveyed to RDH where he provided a sample of his blood for analysis.”
