A YOUNG man has luckily escaped serious injury or death after he was accidentally run over after passing out in a driveway.
NT Police said in the early hours of Tuesday morning on Peary St, Larrakeyah, in Darwin’s CBD, a heavily intoxicated 22-year-old man fell asleep in a driveway of one of the residents there.
“When one of the residents came home they drove in and didn’t see him and run him over. “He only received minor injuries to his right foot and his hand.
“He was taken Royal Darwin Hospital but the injuries were minor so he’s only been taken there as precaution to make sure he’s okay.”
