LAWYERS for a high-profile NT Police officer charged with rape are set to cross-examine a number of witnesses before it is decided if the matter will proceed to the Supreme Court.
The 37-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with rape, possessing ammunition without a licence and unlawfully possessing property.
His lawyer, Luke Officer, appeared in Darwin Local Court on his behalf on Wednesday and handed up a list of witnesses he plans to cross-examine.
The matter was adjourned to June 16.
