Hit-and-run accused to have case heard in Local Court

THE case against a man accused of being behind the wheel in a hit-and-run that left a five-year-old boy in hospital in September will likely be heard summarily, a court has heard

THE case against a man accused of being behind the wheel in a hit-and-run that left a five-year-old boy in hospital in September will likely be heard summarily, a court has heard.

Emmanouil Kampouris again faced court on Friday charged with hit and run driving causing serious harm and failing to report a crash.

His lawyer, Koulla Roussos, told judge John Neill the parties had agreed that the case would remain in the Local Court.

Kampouris will return to court on November 13.
