POLICE are searching for a number of people who broke into a residential property at the Alice Springs Golf Estate.

Acting senior Sergeant Jared Thompson said NT Police had attempted to find the group from the air and the ground but to no avail.

“Just before 2am, we had a couple of chaps that went on through a property through the Golf Course estate and they were scared off by sensor lights,” he said

“We used our police drone and motorcycles to saturate the area but didn’t find them.”

Strike Force Viper will continue searching for the group on Tuesday morning.
