A 24-YEAR-OLD man who allegedly got into a punch up with a shopping centre security guard in Darwin’s CBD has been arrested in relation to two separate aggravated assaults.
Police alleged the man punched a 33-year-old man in the face at a Katherine licensed premises at about 12pm on Tuesday and was arrested by police shortly after.

The man was also arrested in relation to another altercation that occurred at a shopping centre in the Darwin CBD last Wednesday.
He allegedly entered the store at about 3pm and a 27-year-old male security guard recognised him from an earlier theft.
The security guard attempted to stop the man from leaving which resulted in the man punching the security guard to the face and fleeing the scene.

The 24-year-old been charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a worker.
He is scheduled to appear before Katherine Local Court today.
