AN AUDI driver and self-described “entrepreneur” has appeared in court for the first time since being charged with driving 84km/h over the speed limit and going through a red light.
Fahad Khalid, 33, appeared in the Darwin Local Court on Monday on charges of
driving at a speed that is dangerous to the public and entering an intersection against a red light.
According to NT Police, Mr Khalid was pulled over in his black Audi Q7 after allegedly driving 184km/h in a 100km/h zone before going through a red light at the intersection of Tiger Brennan Drive and Amy Johnson Avenue on December 8, 2020.
The matter was adjourned to February 8.

As he left the courthouse, Mr Khalid approached the NT News and said he did not “give permission” for his photo to be taken before getting into the Audi in question.
