UPDATE: A 34-year-old man has died in a single vehicle crash west of Katherine this morning.
Police were called to the scene of the rollover at 4.45am. The man died at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
EARLIER: The Major Crash Investigation Unit has left the scene of the single vehicle crash west of Katherine.
The unit has handed the investigation over to Katherine-based traffic officers.
The road has been reopened to traffic.
The NT News understands a CareFlight helicopter was tasked to the scene.
Earlier this morning police advised that an “all agency emergency response” was underway at the scene of a “serious vehicle crash” on the Victoria Highway.

Both lanes of the highway were closed to all traffic for some time but have since reopened.
